A Breast Lift, also known as Mastopexy, is the procedure of raising and reshaping a woman’s breasts, making them firmer and more shapely.
This is performed by removing sections of loose breast skin as well as reshaping a portion of the internal breast tissue. As part of the Breast Lift procedure, breast implants may be used if desired to further reshape and increase the size of a woman’s breasts.
Breast Reduction, is the procedure of removing fat, tissue and skin from the breasts in order to create smaller, firmer breasts. The usual reduction also involves a breast lift.
Breast Lifts and Breast Reductions will also reduce some of the stretch marks associated with drooping breasts.

There are a number of important steps that you will be taken through during the consultation with your surgeon, so that you will be able to determine the breast size and shape that is best for you. These steps include taking detailed measurements of your chest and breasts as well as reviewing a series of before and after photographs of patients who have had similar procedures.
